Chris Downs

Chris Downs is a Developmental Psychologist with many years experience working to promote adolescent and young adult well-being, independent living, permanency, and social competence.  He is considered an expert on improving both services and outcomes for youth living in out-of-home care, including foster youth. Chris’ company, The Downs Group LLC, is a national child welfare consulting firm with agency clients across the US. He serves on the National Board of the Foster Care Alumni of America, is married, and lives in Seattle.
