Setting the Learning Curve

LCC’s program focus is in healthcare and courses are offered free or low cost to the public. One of the main goals of LCC is to empower others, who
are interested in advancing their career, with the skills necessary to enter the workforce rapidly, as a marketable healthcare professional. My concept
for these programs is to help others begin a fulfilling career and overcome any socio-economic adversities they might face.

LEARNING CURVE
CAREER CENTER (LCC):

Our Belief
Whether or not society as a whole evolves in a positive or negative direction, will always remain up to us as individuals. Innovation occurs when there
exists an understanding that the only way to encourage a positive change is by modeling it. Learning Curve Career Center was founded with a simple
concept; to help shape and enhance lives through teaching and providing marketable job skills.

One of the most important characteristics of present day society is the incredible speed with which it changes. Although change is inevitable,
modernization in the workplace currently takes place at such a breath taking pace, that people constantly need to revise their skills in order to adapt.

Due to a lack of options for employees to advance, more and more people are facing a variety of socio-economic difficulties. Job loss and problems of
unemployment have increased greatly due to our inability to handle the pace of company downsizing.

Who We Serve
Currently, our curriculum is specifically designed to be available free or low cost, as a resource for economically challenged members of our
communities, those seeking additional job skills, and any students aspiring to begin careers in the healthcare field. Our program(s) train students
rapidly for employment, and prepares students to obtain a nationally recognized credential that will help build a solid career in the healthcare field.
Learning Curve programs empower people and prompt self-sufficiency through job training.

We have a variety of classes that focus on the specific skill sets necessary to succeed in a number of different careers.

We hope to improve the level of professionalism throughout our neighborhoods and also to expand the available education opportunities for residents.
These training programs are geared specifically towards passing certification examinations and preparing students for steady employment.

Certification is strongly encouraged by the school because it creates additional recognition by potential employers and opens a variety of employment
opportunities for our graduates.

LCC partners with organizations that have similar interests in serving the community.

This is our contribution. Empower yourself, yes, you can!
LCC’s healthcare training programs include:

• Administrative Medical Assistant
• Clinical Medical Assistant
• Administrative Medical Assistant
• Billing and Coding Specialist

Our Mission
To economically uplift communities by empowering people with highly marketable skills

Our Vision
To effectively bridge our unemployed to sustainable career opportunities.

A change for the better is one step in the right direction; let us be your path.

Our Perspective
We offer free or low-cost self paced training and job placement assistance for programs in the allied healthcare field to economically disadvantaged
individuals and any students interested in entering the healthcare field.

LCC contributes towards combating the growing economic disparity between richer and poorer classes by creating bridges between the unemployed
and available positions within the healthcare field.

In order to maximize social impact, LCC copes with the extreme pace of social innovation by utilizing modern technology to provide self-paced, user
friendly, interactive, and affordable online training resources in the field of healthcare to the public.

If we believe it, we can achieve it.

Mentoring & Community Involvement
Scholarship programs are created for students based on the premise that by providing opportunities for individuals to become self-supporting, we
enhance the economic growth of our community as a whole.

As a partner with community service agencies and organizations (such as: Throw Away Kids Foundation, Foster Focus magazine, Humphrey House, &
For A Child’s Heart Inc., LCC & non profit agencies such as these partners aim to enrich the quality of life on a local level by providing career options to
those looking to make a change in their lives.

Together with these organizations, community agencies, and advocates, LCC works towards providing new and innovative opportunities to the
unemployed and underemployed and to the public as a whole. LCC’s strategic partnerships assist in economic development by bridging the gap
between skilled workers and available positions in local health care facilities nationally.

LCC is also involved in an organizational capacity working in cooperation with local governments and government agencies at the city and state level to
grow, expand, and spread the LCC learning experience throughout the communities that seek the opportunity to engage in this educational platform
